Resilmount A50R Sound Isolation Ceiling Hanger
Resilmount® A50R is specifically designed for the support and acoustical isolation of internal suspended ceiling systems.
Rubber mounts differ from spring mounts in that the natural frequency is a function not only of the deflection but also of the rubber hardness. The noise absorption properties of the Resilmount A50R allow it to deflect 3/16”, in accordance with American Standards, which provided optimal isolation of transferred noise.
Features
- Designed for a universal fit with all hanger wire.
- Can be installed into either a new or existing ceiling system.
- Acoustically tested for STC and IIC.
- Does not reduce the load capacity of the ceiling system.
- Suitably isolates the ceiling system from the structure to reduce structure and airborne noise.
- Three profiles of the A50R address the weight bearing requirements of various suspended ceiling systems: Red (65lbs per hanger), Black (120lbs per hanger), Blue (200lbs per hanger).
